The accommodation has a beautiful view of the city. The room is small, but clean and tidy and the bed is comfortable. Unfortunately there was no hot water ─ I think there are better ways to provide hot water.
Quite a few things were not so nice. My "room service" order was wrong, my breakfast order was wrong, they have a weird setup where you have to pay for breakfast before you can order, oh little things were just weird. Place is very neat and clean, incredibly beautiful gardens and view of the city.

Friendly staff, very helpful, room comfortable. Parking is a bit small.
Good customer service when we arrived and when our kettle never worked we got assistance quickly for another one, however, the shower was quite cold even on its highest temperature it was a low to lukewarm and we had no view. But the bed was comfortable, aircon great and it is a very clean and spacious room.

Had a nice stay for a few days. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was neat and clean, the bathroom door just couldn't close completely and shower could be better.
It's a nice place, and great value for money however I would suggest that the guest be asked if they are a 'light sleeper' or not. My room 202 was right next to the elevator and kitchen. I did not get a good night's sleep. Woke up every time someone came out of the elevator and was woken very early because of the kitchen staff that started with breakfast. But overall still satisfied and will book there again.
I would like to express my displeasure with the handling of my booking. After confirmation of booking I had until 10H00 Friday morning, 28/04/2023, to make payment. Direct payment was done at 07h48 and at 11H14 I got confirmation to clock in. At 11:50 I was informed by e-mail that my reservation to Cape Town Lodge Hotel had been diverted. It was last minute, because I was already on my way to Cape Town and had to accept it. Out of all the places I could choose, I specifically chose Signal Hill and there was a good reason for that.
We enjoyef our stay. The staff was friendly and very helpful.
Firstly, the parking is a nightmare, especially if you arrive with a bakkie - the space is too small. The room is too small. No place to hold luggage. The bathroom door wouldn't close properly. The water stayed lukewarm when showering. There was too much noise coming from the bar area.

I bought one for my son and his girlfriend from Korea last night and they couldn't get enough of it. They couldn't say thank you enough, it was amazing.
We had a very nice stay. The beds are very comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The only negative is the parking. The space is very small and there is not enough parking for the amount of guests.

I would like to mention that 2 single bed room was not booked as requested. I even mentioned it in a comment I made with my payment. However, they did not receive it. They had to get the room ready when we first got there.
I stayed here for a month and the staff was awesome, it was my home away from home and everyone made me feel very welcome and like family.
Unbelievable value at extremely good price. You won't find better views of Cape Town anywhere. Will come again.
Dorian's character and attitude made us feel very welcome. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome. We will definitely be back if Dorian is back on duty. He is a winner for the place. Place is very neat and safe.

The Reception was very good. Breathtaking view from balcony. I would recommend that there should be at least a bar fridge in each room and more electrical wall plugs. It was difficult to have to turn off the air conditioning every time when our other appliances e.g. boiler wanted to use.
I wouldn't mind visiting Signal Hill Lodge again, the level of customer care is out of this world. They are the best.

The room was neat and tidy. Sometimes when we reached the desk, there wasn't anyone to assist with queries but this was understandable as it was loadshedding most of our stay. They did take care of us and checked us in at the desk and asked if we were okay and needed anything. The staff were very friendly.
